Hi everyone! So here it is – a new personal best ! The weather was ideal, and I had enough space around me most of the time. Until 27km the pace would have allowed a sub-3:15 finish, and I slowed down a bit to just drive it home. Alas, at 32 and 34 km I had again nasty hamstring cramps, which forced me to pause for about 3:30 minutes altogether… And after that, I ran really carefully to avoid the risk of another cramp.
N.B.: If you ever manage to get an entry slot into Berlin Marathon or even Berlin half in spring, make sure you arrive at the start in time. The area (and the toilets) will be CROWDED, and you will need a lot of time to a) empty your bladder for the last time, and b) get to your corral.
